"Hush" was the third Kickstarter I freelanced on with a fresh studio with cool ideas and a good track record. Long story short, the studio ended up biting more than it could chew, leaving a bunch of shunned supporters watching it turn purple and choke.
I'm guessing I'm not the only artist who has an alternative "graveyard" portfolio made up of promising projects that could, that almost did, but ultimately kicked the bucket. It’s always tough to watch a promising project collapse, especially when you believe in the worldbuilding and the mechanics. However, implosion before release is commonplace.
If you've got a Hush of your own gathering dust, I'd genuinely love to hear about it.
These are WIP and placeholder concept pieces, box, board, and character assets.
